Cover for On-device by design — capture without giving up your voice

Most voice-note apps are built around server-side audio processing. ThoughtSift is designed around a narrower promise: keep the voice recording on the phone by default, then use the text transcript to build the sift.

Capture without breaking flow

You can start from the Action Button, a home-screen widget, or the app. The screen can lock while recording continues, so capture fits a walk, commute, or gap between meetings.

Transcribed locally

When transcription runs on-device, your voice audio never leaves the phone. ThoughtSift sends the text transcript to sift intelligence in the cloud, which turns the messy thought into structure.

Cloud transcription exists too, but it’s opt-in. You pick it in Settings, or ThoughtSift asks first when on-device transcription can’t run. You can always keep the audio on the phone instead.

Share the sift, not the recording

A share link carries the animated diagram, never your recording. Transcript access is off unless you include it, links expire after 24 hours, and PIN protection is available when the link needs a little more friction.

Privacy is not a decorative setting here. It is part of the capture and sharing shape.
